<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve determination accuracy of similarity between images taking even shooting date and time into account.SOLUTION: A similarity determination unit 18 of a digital camera comprises: an image acquisition unit 20 that acquires a plurality of images along with information on each shooting date and time of the images; a characteristic-amount calculation unit 21 that calculates each amount of characteristic of the plurality of images acquired by the image acquisition unit 20; an evaluation value calculation unit 22 that calculates an evaluation value expressing similarity between the images on the basis of each amount of characteristic of at least two images of similarity determination object calculated by the characteristic-amount calculation unit 21; a shooting interval calculation units 23 that calculates a shooting interval between each shooting date and time of at least two images of similarity determination object; and a determination unit 24 that determines similarity between at least two images of similarity determination object using a similarity determination characteristic, which is defined by the shooting interval and an evaluation threshold and causes the images to be hardly determined similar as the shooting interval gets longer.</p> |
