PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display terminal device and the like which enable a user or the like who is not used to viewpoint movements during reading to smoothly read and efficiently read.SOLUTION: A portable communication terminal 10 has a function which enables a user to easily and appropriately recognize individual lines of a text by indenting a beginning of a line from lines above and below while rotating (tilting) characters to display at a prescribed angle and displaying the maximum number of characters on a single line when reading an electronic book such as text data, to easily recognize a character string that is moved in a scrolled manner, and has a function to assist reading which enables even a user or the like who is not used to a viewpoint movement during reading to smoothly read and efficiently read.
