<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel device in which a protective film is easily attachable to the exposed region of a display unit exposed from the opening of a cover, and the scratch of the exposed region to which the protective film is not attached is inconspicuous.SOLUTION: The panel device includes: a cover 70 having an opening 42; and a display unit 71 including a translucent member 78 having a protruding end surface 51 as a surface exposed via the opening 42 to the outside, which displays an image. The protruding end surface 51 includes: a first region 91 positioned in the peripheral edge of the opening 42; and a second region 92 surrounded by the first region 91. The second region 92 is a smooth surface to which the protective film 72 is attachable, and the first region 91 is a surface which is rougher than the second region 92.</p> |
