PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate life of a blast furnace runner cover without increasing cost by preventing deformation thereof by reducing a temperature difference that can occur in a structural member of the blast furnace runner cover.SOLUTION: A blast furnace runner cover 1 lies above a blast furnace runner 2 that permits passage of a molten iron 5 discharged from a blast furnace. A skeletal structure of the blast furnace runner cover 1 is constituted by a structure member 21 whose cross section has a hollow part 24. The hollow part 24 of the structural member 21 penetrates in a width direction of the blast furnace runner 2 and is opened outward. A temperature difference in the structural member 21 can be reduced by circulating heat in the hollow part 24, thereby suppressing distortion of the structural member 21 that can occur due to the temperature difference.
