<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin powder coating for varistor, which has excellent flame retardancy even when no halogen material is used and has excellent moisture resistance, and a varistor having excellent combustion resistance and reliability.SOLUTION: An epoxy resin powder coating for varistor is used for outer packaging of varistor, and includes an epoxy resin, a hardening agent, a phosphate ester type flame retardant, and a copper compound. When a varistor voltage test is implemented for a varistor packaged with the epoxy resin powder coating for varistor before and after the pressure cooker treatment under a condition of 2 atmospheric pressure, 121°C, 100% RH, and 24 hours, and voltages of current leakage of 1 mA are respectively represented by V1 and V1, the voltage change rate before and after the pressure cooker treatment,Δ1(%)=(1-V1/V1)×100, is 5% or less.</p> |
