This invention obtains the health-and-beauty state of a user and an action state representing health-and-beauty-related actions taken by said user and helps enhance the user's health and beauty. A health-information system in an embodiment includes a management apparatus that is connected, via a network, to a measurement apparatus that measures the user's health-and-beauty state and an action-state acquisition apparatus that acquires an action history indicating health-and-beauty-related actions taken by the user. The management apparatus associates health-and-beauty measurement information with the action history and stores the user's daily health-and-beauty measurement information and action history and a chronological manner. On the basis of past chronological health-and-beauty measurement information, chronological patterns in which the user's health-and-beauty state changes or does not change are extracted, health-and-beauty actions taken or not taken by the user when the extracted chronological patterns were applicable are extracted, and using health-and-beauty measurement information from before and after said health-and-beauty actions or from the periods during which said actions were not taken, effect evaluation information indicating the effects of taking or not taking the extracted health-and-beauty actions is generated. |
