The invention relates to a device (1) for impregnating at least one insulated winding bar (2, 3) for an electric machine, said device comprising a tool having at least one upper tool part (4) and at least one lower tool part (5) to receive at least one winding bar (2, 3) in at least one tool cavity present when the upper tool part (4) and lower tool part (5) are connected to one another. For an impregnation process the tool cavity of the winding bar (2, 3) can be filled with an impregnating agent, and the tool surrounds the winding bar (2, 3) in positive engagement during the impregnation process. The invention is characterised in that at least one insert part (6 - 9), which can be releasably connected to the upper tool part (4) or the lower tool part (5), for one end of the winding bar (2, 3) is provided in at least one portion of the tool cavity which receives the end of the winding bar (2, 3) during the impregnation process. The insert part (6 - 9) has a surface geometry which in some regions is complementary to the surface geometry of the end of the bar, and during the impregnation process the end of the rod bears against the insert part (6 - 9) and can be given a matching shape by means of the insert part (6 - 9) on the upper tool part (4) or on the lower tool part (5). |
