The present invention relates to a curtain wall having excellent thermal insulation and stiffness and an installation method thereof. The curtain wall comprises: an inner frame in which a vertical bar and a horizontal bar are installed in the inside, respectively; an outer frame installed on the outside; and a thermal insulation frame (30) installed between the inner frame and the outer frame to fix the inner frame and the outer frame, wherein the inner and outer frames are fixed by the thermal insulation frame (30), respectively, and the thermal insulation frame (30) is made of polystyrene or a foamed plastic material. According to the constitution above, in the present invention, the outer frame and the inner frame made of metal materials are spaced apart from each other at a regular interval with the thermal insulation frame between them, thereby providing the curtain wall to prevent a loss of thermal energy and to have reinforced stiffness. |
