A multi view image display apparatus is disclosed. The multi view image display apparatus comprises: a depth estimation unit estimating a depth of an input image; a rendering unit rendering a multi view image based on the estimated depth; a display unit displaying the rendered multi view image; and a control unit differentially adjusting the number of the rendering views according to the depth value of at least one object area included in the input image to perform a control operation for rendering the multi view image.
