The invention relates to a closure cap (1) for a substantially cylindrical vessel, with a jacket surface, a closed end (2) and an open end (3), and with a tear-open strip (4) having a grip tab (5) for opening the closure cap (1). In order to produce closure caps (1) which are designed such that they can be applied by machine to substantially cylindrical vessels, it is proposed within the context of the invention that the jacket surface is substantially cylindrical at least in the area of the open end, and that the closure cap is designed to be stackable and has means (6, 7) for stacking at least two closure caps (1) at a defined spacing. |
