PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the rotation state of a rotation element connected to a mechanical engagement mechanism and make the mechanical engagement mechanism switchable.SOLUTION: Provided is a control device of an automatic transmission including a plurality of planetary gear mechanisms and a plurality of engagement mechanisms. The engagement mechanisms include a plurality of hydraulic engagement mechanisms controlling the number of revolutions of a predetermined rotation element to zero during engagement and a mechanical engagement mechanism provided between the predetermined rotation element and a casing. The mechanical engagement mechanism is switchable over between a one-way-rotation permission state and a rotation prevention state. The automatic transmission further includes hydraulic pressure detection means for a hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulic engagement mechanisms. The control device can execute processing for controlling the hydraulic engagement mechanisms into engaged states if a gear position is set to a reverse position and subsequently to switch the mechanical engagement mechanism to the rotation prevention state at least on condition that a detection result of the hydraulic pressure detection means is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. |
