PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-saccharification agent which has an inhibitory action of the saccharification reaction (it is also called a glycation reaction, Maillard reaction) of a protein or a lipid associated with decreased skin elasticity and the like which is found with aging.SOLUTION: An anti-saccharification agent contains one or more kinds of essential oils selected from essential oils obtained from Lavandula plants and essential oils obtained from Citrus plants. The Lavandula plants are preferred to be one or more kinds selected from Lavandula officinalis and Lavandula burnatii. The Citrus plants are preferred to be one or more kinds selected from Citrus bergamia and Citrus aurantium. |
