<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth tracing in order to monitor a long and narrow space such as a corridor, a passage way, and an escalator in a camera having pan and tilt functions.SOLUTION: A lens unit including an imaging element is configured so as to be rotatable by 90°, and a direction of a display image of a client is changed on the basis of an output of detection means for detecting a lens unit mounting direction from an image movement direction corresponding to pan and tilt. A direction of a line of flow of a moving object of a photographed image is detected, and the direction of the line of flow and a long side direction of the imaging element are made to be coincident with each other.</p> |
