PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately supply electric power to a plurality of network apparatuses A-C.SOLUTION: A communication system 100 comprises a plurality of network apparatuses A-C connected with a plurality of ICT apparatuses 1-3 respectively, and data communicated by the plurality of ICT apparatuses 1-3 is transmitted to the plurality of network apparatuses A-C in a distributed manner. The communication system 100 comprises: a data acquisition unit 301 and a determination unit 302 that select the network apparatus A-C to be made in an operation state from the plurality of network apparatuses A-C according to traffic of each of the plurality of ICT apparatuses 1-3; and a power supply control unit 303 that controls power supply states to the network apparatuses A-C so as to supply power to the selected network apparatus A-C.
