<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical disc brake capable of implementing adjustment due to lining wear of friction pads with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In a mechanical disc brake in which a caliper body 1 has a cylinder hole 11 for sliding a piston 12 and a cam shaft insertion hole 8 for inserting a cam shaft 7, a push rod 17 presses the piston 12 by rotation of a rotary arm 10 connected to the cam shaft 7 and operating the cam shaft 7 by traction of connecting means, and friction pads 21, 22 are slidably kept into contact with a disc rotor 2 by forward movement of the piston 12, the rotary arm 10 is screwed with the cam shaft 7, and the rotary arm 10 and a nut 20 are screwed and fixed to the cam shaft 7 with a constitution of double nut.</p> |
