<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of cooling gas using exhaust gas.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 100 comprises a thermoacoustic engine 10, and this thermoacoustic engine includes a resonance tube 11, a stack 12, an output heat exchanger 13, and a normal temperature heat exchanger 14. A pulse wave of exhaust gas is input to one end of the resonance tube 11 and the other end of the resonance tube 11 is closed. The stack 12 is provided in the resonance tube 11. The output heat exchanger 13 is provided on one side of the stack 12, absorbs heat, and cools intake gas. The normal temperature heat exchanger 14 is provided on the other side of the stack 12, and radiates heat to outside of the resonance tube 11. With this configuration of the internal combustion engine 100, it is possible to actuate the thermoacoustic engine 10 using a pulse wave of exhaust gas as an input wave and cool the intake gas.</p> |
