PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete water pool and a construction method of the concrete water pool capable of preventing flow-out of water out of the water pool while reducing the construction time.SOLUTION: The concrete water pool includes: a water pool 11 that has a space capable of pooling water being enclosed by concrete walls; a manhole 12 constituting a gateway of the water pool 11; a water-resistant layer 2 formed along the inner face of the water pool 11; and a grid-like structure 3 which is assembled to fill the inside of the water pool 11 inside the water-resistant layer 2. The grid-like structure 3 is arranged so that a certain gapsΔgx1,Δgx2,Δgy1,Δgy2 andΔgz are ensured between a side wall 11a and a ceiling 11b of the water pool 11.
