A cycle-by-cycle current limiting method with a short pulse suppression function comprising the following steps: when an overcurrent fault occurs, starting timing, and determining the action time period t<u> H </u> of a PWM input signal at this time; if the time tH is greater than a preset time Tset1, blocking a driving signal; and if the time tH is less than the preset time Tset1, delaying the blocking of the driving signal, the delay being that Tdelay1=Tset1-tH; and when the overcurrent fault signal is reset, determining the time period tL from the lowering of the overcurrent signal to the lowering of the PWM input signal, and if the time tL is greater than a preset time Tset2, releasing the driving signal; and if the time tL is less than the preset time Tset2, delaying the release of the driving signal, the delay being that Tdelay2=Tset2-tL. |
