PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a failure occurs to a sensor detecting the number of revolutions of a constituent element of an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A control device of an automatic transmission including an input shaft to which a drive force of an internal combustion engine is input via a torque converter and a sensor which detects the number of revolutions of the input shaft, comprises: output torque identification means which identifies an output torque of the internal combustion engine; stall torque identification means which identifies a stall torque based on the number of revolutions of the internal combustion engine and a capacity coefficient of the torque converter; and determination means which determines whether or not the sensor malfunctions on the basis of a detection result of the sensor, the output torque identified by the output torque identification means, and the stall torque identified by the stall torque identification means. |
