摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication light detection structure that is capable of increasing the amount of leakage light reaching as far as a light-receiving element without increasing transmission loss of an optical transmission path.SOLUTION: A communication light detection structure 100 comprises: an optical transmission path 102 for transmitting communication light 101; a ferrule 103 for accommodating the optical transmission path 102; a light take-out unit 105 that is formed in the middle of the optical transmission path 102 accommodated in the ferrule 103 and takes out part of the communication light 101 as leakage light 104; and a light-receiving element 106 for receiving leakage light 104 leaking to the ferrule 103 and an outer periphery. The ferrule 103 is made of non-scattering material that transmits light as direct advance light and includes a light scattering part 109 at a position facing the light-receiving element 106.
