PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum or aluminum alloy bus bar capable of being solder-joined with a zinc-sprayed electrode of a capacitor element, and also to provide an insert material for bus bar joint, and a capacitor device using these.SOLUTION: About a bus bar solder-joined with a zinc-sprayed electrode 5 provided in a wound type capacitor element 4, a zinc plating layer 3 is formed in a region in contact with at least the zinc-sprayed electrode 5 on the surface of a base substance 2 made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. Or, an insert material in which zinc plating is formed in the region in contact with at least the zinc-sprayed electrode on the surface of the base substance made of aluminum or aluminum alloy is joined to the face on the wound type capacitor element side of the base substance or butt joined to the base substance, thereby constituting the bus bar.
