<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment mechanism and an adjustment method for adjusting the height of an inlet of one kind of post-processing device, with a simple structure, to the height of an outlet of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A post-processing device includes: post-processing means for performing post-processing on recording materials sequentially conveyed from a recording material outlet of an image forming apparatus; a housing which holds the post-processing means inside, and has an opening facing the recording material outlet of the image forming apparatus to transfer the recording material; first support means having a fixed height position for supporting a bottom face of the housing; and second support means which protrudes between the first support means and a side face of the image forming apparatus having the recording material outlet formed thereon, to adjust the height position for supporting the bottom face of the housing.</p> |
