PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input technique capable of accurately performing calculation of an indication position while minimizing a load on a user when an installation position of a device is changed.SOLUTION: Change of an installation position of a coordinate input device is detected. A lapse of a certain time is determined according to a detection result. When it is determined that the certain time has elapsed, setting information for detecting an indication position of the coordinate input device is set again.
