摘要 The present invention relates to an idle stop and go (ISG) control system of construction equipment and, more particularly, to the implementation of an ISG system in an operation standby situation of construction equipment, and a control method therefor, and provided is a function for converting a mode into an auto-idle mode and an ISG mode according to the selection of a driver or under predetermined conditions at the time of operation standby of heavy construction equipment. Further, the ISG control system controls the stopping and re-starting of an engine by sensing the presence of corresponding operation equipment in a predetermined range, and controls the stopping and restarting of the engine by sensing the motion and posture of a driver. Furthermore, the state of the equipment is continuously sensed after stopping the engines so as to provide the function for converting a mode into a lower idle mode having a low rpm at a point in time at which the performance of a main operation is expected. According to the present invention, the ISG control system controls the idling mode and the stopping and starting of the engine according to each of detailed requirement conditions, thereby preventing fuel consumption caused by unnecessary idling.
