The invention concerns a method for producing a linear or elongate aircraft structural part of large dimensions of up to several metres, remarkable in that it consists of producing said part from an aluminium alloy and of carrying out an electrolytic micro arc oxidation surface treatment on same with a view to obtaining a ceramic coating.
