<p>The embodiments herein relate to a method in a first network node (301) for handling traffic flows in a communications system (300). The first network node (301) obtains a fingerprint of an uncompressed header comprised in an incoming traffic flow. The fingerprint is a cryptographic hash value identifying the uncompressed header. The first network node (301) obtains a tag associated with the fingerprint. The first network node (301) compresses the uncompressed header by replacing the uncompressed header with the tag. The first network node (301) transmits the traffic flow comprising the compressed header and the payload data to a second network node (305).</p> |
