The present invention relates to a traffic control method for a content transmission service, which can reduce load and traffic concentration of a cache controller by selectively delivering only target traffic of the content transmission service to the cache controller when a plurality of local caching devices are controlled through the cache controller in the content transmission service for transmitting content through the local caching devices which are distributedly disposed in a network, and a computer readable recording medium for recording a program which realizes the same. The local caching devices extract and receive a response message with respect to a domain name inquiry message or a domain name inquiry related to a specific content server through the monitoring of a packet transceived with a terminal device through a communications network, and provide an IP address of the cache controller instead of an IP address of the specific content server to the terminal device, corresponding to the extracted domain name inquiry message or a response message for the domain name inquiry. |
