摘要 The present invention relates to a system for controlling the process mode of a spindle device for a machine tool and a spindle device including the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for controlling the process mode of a spindle device for a machine tool comprises: a foreign substance detection sensor; a command notifying part; a process mode setting part; a logic part; a pressure detection sensor; a process mode reset part; and a process mode change part. The foreign substance detection sensor detects whether an interference object exists on a movement passage of the spindle. The command notifying part commands the spindle to return to its original position when an interference object is detected by the foreign detection sensor and notifies the operator that an interference object has been detected. The process mode setting part sets a process mode of the spindle. The logic part determines whether a tool mounted on the spindle is suitable for the process mode. The pressure detection sensor calculates the pressure generated when the tool mounted on the spindle is in contact with a processed material in accordance with the process mode. The process mode reset part controls a process front end engineering design (FEED) of the spindle in the process mode based on the pressure value measured through the pressure detection sensor before performing a process. The process mode change part changes the detailed setting of the process mode based on the pressure value measured by the pressure detection sensor while performing the process.
