PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor contributing to improvement of engine performance, simplification of an engine design, stable ignition, flame holding and downsizing of an igniter, and a jet engine, a missile, an operation method of the jet engine.SOLUTION: A combustor 7 of a jet engine includes a fuel injector 62, an igniter 61 for igniting a mixture of air and fuel, and flame holding parts 66, 66'. The igniter 61 is arranged in the flame holding parts 66, 66'. After operation of the igniter 61, the igniter 61 disappears, and a space after disappearance functions as flame holding spaces 67, 67'. |
