摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost iron-based sintered material achieving both remarkably high toughness (impact value) and high intensity while using low alloy steel powder containing a small alloy content.SOLUTION: An iron-based sintered material comprises a sintered body obtained by sintering a molded body made by pressure molding base iron powder containing Mo and substantially no Cr, and mixed powder containing at least enhanced powder containing Cr and carbon source powder. The iron-based sintered material contains Mo:0.1-1.5%, Cr:0.01-2.5%, and C:0.2-1% when the whole is 100 mass%, and comprises a complex tissue where a martensite phase is dispersed in the matrix comprising a bainite phase. It is possible to obtain, especially, the iron-based sintered material having high toughness and high intensity, and comprising an island complex tissue where an island martensite phase is dispersed in the matrix comprising a fine bainite phase, by controlling a mixing constitution and a grain size of raw material powder.
