PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistive touch panel device further improving precision of coordinates detection by performing a drive for expanding a range of voltage applied to a resistance film for the coordinates detection in the resistive touch panel device.SOLUTION: The resistive touch panel device applies a first voltage and a second voltage to electrodes at both ends to measure a pressing position of a resistance film, then, calculates a voltage value to be applied to both ends of the resistance film on the basis of the detected voltage value, and applies it thereto. This configuration can expand a range of the voltage applied to the resistance film for coordinates detection more than the conventional one so as to improve the precision of the coordinates detection. |
