PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body, a manufacturing method of a display body, and an article with a label, capable of controlling a spectrum of regular reflection light and allowing discrimination from an imitation while maintaining a diffraction effect of a diffraction grating of a surface relief type.SOLUTION: A display body includes a rugged structure region having a rugged structure including a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions on at least part of one surface of a light transmission layer. A light reflection layer is formed on the rugged structure region. The light reflection layer includes a plurality of layers. The plurality of layers are laminated in different shapes at the recesses and the protrusions, respectively.
