<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to accurately measure the amount of wear of an image carrier, regardless of variability, such as individual difference of the image carrier.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 55 includes: a detection apparatus 1100 which detects a developer image on a surface of a photoreceptor drum 100; a reflection member 1000 which faces the photoreceptor drum 100, between an optical path of exposure light L0 emitted from an exposure apparatus 300 and a charging roller 200; a detection apparatus 1100 which detects a distance between a first developer image formed by the exposure light L0 and a second developer image formed by second reflected light L2, the exposure light L0 of the exposure apparatus 300 being reflected by the photoreceptor drum 100 to form first reflected light L1, which is reflected by the reflection member 1000 to form the second reflected light L2; and a CPU 50 which calculates the amount of wear of the photoreceptor drum 1000, on the basis of the distance between the images detected by the detection apparatus 1100.</p> |
