The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for registering a medical image. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: generating non-real time medical images having information on a respiratory deformation reflected before a medical treatment; and rigid-registering a real-time medical image and the generated non-real time medical image during the medical treatment to obtain a registration image having high accuracy, in which the information on the respiratory deformation is considered.
