<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomic cell and a method for manufacturing the atomic cell that can be reduced in size and achieve power saving, and to provide a quantum interference device, an atomic oscillator, electronic equipment, and a mobile body including the atomic cell.SOLUTION: A gas cell 2 of the present invention includes: an alkali metal; a body part 21 and windows 22, 23 constituting an inner space S where the alkali metal is encapsulated; and block layers 221, 231 constituting at least a part of the inner wall of the inner space S and containing a metal. A portion having a higher density of the metal than that of the surface on an inner space S side of the block layers 221, 231 is disposed in the block layers 221, 231.</p> |
