<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that enables a user to select a storage format of gray value data when storing image data.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring color image data; a monochromatic conversion unit for converting the color image data acquired by the acquisition unit into primary monochromatic image data; a gray value conversion unit for converting the primary monochromatic image data into secondary monochromatic data in which a region where a color is different but a gray value is the same or approximate in the primary monochromatic image is replaced by a different gray value; a storage unit for storing the color image data, the primary monochromatic image data, and secondary monochromatic image data; and an output unit for outputting these pieces of image data. The storage unit further stores gray setting value data set when the gray value conversion unit converts the primary monochromatic data into the secondary monochromatic image data together with the color image data.</p> |
