<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to reduce the possibility of a handset being connected to a telephone network against a user's intention.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device 10 comprises: a handset 11 having a function to output voice received from a monitoring center as a communication counterpart via a telephone network 40; a front panel detection part 33 for detecting whether or not a front panel 19 on which the handset 11 is placed is open; and a handset control part 20 which performs control in such a manner that the handset 11 is prevented from being connected with the monitoring center when it is detected that the front panel 19 is open.</p> |
