<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion device capable of reading out a dynamic range without deteriorating linearity of output characteristics, and a driving method thereof.SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device includes: a photoelectric conversion element; a pixel including a floating diffusion node to which electric charge from the photoelectric conversion element is transferred; a read signal line connected to the pixel; a current read amplifier connected to the read signal line; and current read means for transferring signal charge generated in the photoelectric conversion element to the current read amplifier. The floating diffusion node is reset to a first voltage in accordance with a voltage in an input terminal of the current read amplifier and after a voltage in an output terminal of the current read amplifier is reset to a second voltage that is different from the first voltage, signal charge is transferred from the photoelectric conversion element to the floating diffusion node.</p> |
