<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power performance in a case of executing torque limitation in a region in which the discharge quantity of an oil pump is on the rise.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle automatic transmission 2 including an oil pump 4 driven by an input torque from an engine 1 and a clutch engaged at an engagement pressure determined in response to a discharge quantity of the oil pump 4, comprises torque limiting means 201 setting an upper limit of the input torque input to the automatic transmission 2 if it is determined to start limiting the input torque, and the torque limiting means 201 sets the upper limit of the input torque to a value greater than a clutch permission torque at timing of determining to start limiting the input torque and permits the input torque to increase if it is determined to start limiting the input torque at a time of an input torque increase at which the input torque is lower than a predetermined value, and subsequently increases the upper limit stepwise by a predetermined amount per predetermined time until the increased input torque is equal to the predetermined value.</p> |
