PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection electrode member for a touch panel having a smaller difference in adhesive force of a protective film with a tackiness agent, between a position detection electrode and a margin area on an outer periphery thereof, the position detection electrode member for a touch panel having high yield and reliability when made into a touch panel.SOLUTION: A position detection electrode member for a touch panel includes a position detection electrode at least on one side of a transparent substrate. An adhesion prevention pattern made of the same material as a conductive material included in the position detection electrode is formed on a margin area being the same surface of the position detection electrode and an outer periphery of the position detection electrode, the margin area with no electrode formed.
