<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal joint in which a movable range is assured, it is not displaced from a central point of rotation and no bending moment is produced among joints cooperating with a plurality movable members.SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem described in the theme above, a universal joint 1 of this invention comprises: a first fork yoke; a second fork yoke; and a connector having end portions of shafts extending in a radial direction to cross to each other at right angle and rotatably supporting each of the end pairs of shafts opposing in each of the radial directions to the first and second fork yokes, respectively. Each of the first and second fork yokes comprises: a yoke main body; and a pair of yoke arms branched from the yoke main body. At each of the connected portions of shaft end pairs and the first fork yoke, and shaft end pairs and the second fork yoke, the connecting parts form cross-shaped shafts in which semi-sphere salient and semi-sphere recess are fitted while the semi-sphere salient being present at one and the semi-sphere recess being present at the other, and the connecting parts rotatably operate.</p> |
