Session-based Device Configuration

Techniques for session-based device configuration are described. According to one or more implementations, various settings of a wireless device are configured to optimize device performance while participating in a communication session via a wireless network. The settings, for instance, are configured dynamically and on a per-session basis.

at least one processor; and one or more computer-readable storage media including instructions stored thereon that, responsive to execution by the at least one processor, cause the system perform operations including:
ascertaining an attribute of a communication session received as part of a notification that the communication session is initiated in a network;applying the attribute of the communication session to a network policy for the network to specify a parameter for the communication session;generating a configuration event that includes the parameter for the communication session; andcommunicating the configuration event to a client device that is connected to the network and that is participating in the communication session.
