The purpose of the present invention is to provide sugarcane harvesting wherein weight reduction can be achieved and sugarcane that has been cut at the base of the plants can be reliably transported and winnowed. A sugarcane harvester (1) is equipped with a crop divider (2) that divides out straw, a base cutter (3) that forms a reaper, a transport device (5), a chopping device (6), a winnower (7), and the like on a crawler type traveling device (10). The transport device (5) is constituted of a chain type conveyor (30) wherein a plurality of transport plates (37, 37 …) are installed between left and right chains (36, 36) and a roller type conveyor (40) that is disposed on the upper side of the chain type conveyor (30) facing the same and wherein cylindrical transport rollers (42, 42) are supported so as to be freely swingable up and down in the left and right directions on left and right transport frames (51, 51). In the winnower, a diffusion case is provided in line with the rear part of a discharge opening for the chopping device, and a diffusion rotor is provided in the lower front part of the diffusion case. |
