The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for purifying organic materials using an ionic liquid, the method comprising: a mixing step of mixing organic materials into an ionic liquid; a melting step of melting, in a first condition, the organic materials mixed into the ionic liquid; a crystallization step of crystallizing the melted organic materials in a second condition; and a separation step of separating the crystallized organic materials from the ionic liquid, wherein at least one of the melting step and the crystallization step is performed in an inert gas atmosphere. The present invention has the following effects: it is possible to efficiently purify the organic materials of a high purity at a low cost by a simple process; it is possible to purify a large quantity of organic materials at a high yield in a relatively short time; it is easy to design and control a purifying process; and a variety of organic materials can be dealt with. |
