The present specification relates to a cutting process simulation method and a system thereof, which efficiently optimize a nuclear facility decommissioning process, thereby saving costs and time consumed in the decommissioning process and assuring stability. The cutting process simulation system according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises: a display unit; and a CAD control unit cutting targets to be cut in the nuclear facility using a CAD kernel and an API function, displaying the cutting situation on a display unit and estimating a generation amount of secondary wastes generated by the process of cutting the targets to be cut.
