PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the boundary of meshes from being conspicuous while utilizing the pattern of a design of the meshes themselves in map display.SOLUTION: In filter processing as image processing in map display, the pixel value of a pixel adjacent to a certain pixel is not quoted but the pixel value of a pixel separate to a certain extent in a mesh unit is quoted to determine the pixel value of the pixel. The filter processing in a mesh unit is repeatedly performed in the whole pixels of a range to be subjected to filter processing. Thus, the boundary of meshes can be prevented from being conspicuous while utilizing the pattern of the design of the meshes themselves without greatly changing the pattern of the design of the meshes themselves. As a result, when displaying a map, a map having less discomfort can be displayed particularly when displaying the map in an enlarged manner. |
