<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing defrosting operation in a short time without making a user feel discomfort.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes: an outdoor machine 2; an indoor machine 3 that has a human detection sensor 11 for detecting human operation in a room 4; and an outdoor control device 9 that after a defrosting starting condition is established during heating operation, controls the outdoor machine 2 after lapse of a predetermined time to start defrosting operation. In a case where human operation is not detected in the room 4 by the human detection sensor 11 after establishment of the defrosting starting condition, the outdoor control device 9 controls the outdoor 2 even before lapse of the predetermined time to start defrosting operation.</p> |
