<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aromatic-aliphatic polycarbonate having a high Abbe number, a low birefringence, and heat resistance, and a plastic lens comprising the same.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate comprises constitutional units represented by formula (I) and formula (II) at a molar ratio of (I):(II)=80:20-40:60 and has a specific viscosity of 0.12-0.40, wherein R-Rindependently represent H, F, Cl, Br, I, a C1-6 alkyl group or alkoxy group, a C6-12 aryl group, a C2-6 alkenyl group or a C7-17 aralkyl group.</p> |
