The present invention relates to a water membrane filter, and an air cleaner using the same. The water membrane filter consists of a central rotation shaft and one or more water membrane screens formed along the outer circumferential surface of the central rotation shaft, and performs an air cleaning function by using a water membrane generated by passing through a plurality of through holes formed on the water membrane screens. In addition, the air cleaner using the water membrane filter: improves an air cleaning function of the water membrane filter by compressing air in an inhalation process of the air; automatically performs water supplement, polluted filter washing, and exchange of polluted water according to determined settings; and to an air outlet to discharge air in the form of a whirlwind during a discharge process of cleaned air. Therefore, the present invention is capable of increasing an air purification efficiency and a natural humidification effect, and providing convenience at management and usage of the device. |
