PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve scratch resistance of an antireflection article having a moth-eye structure.SOLUTION: In an antireflection article 5 having a fine rugged shape on the surface to prevent reflection, fine small projections 15 and large projections 16 having a larger shape than that of the fine small projections 15 are arranged on the surface, and the large projections 16 are manufactured in a dispersed random arrangement, higher than the fine small projections 15, and has wider width at a root part than the longest wavelength in a wavelength band for achieving antireflection. The fine small projections 15 are arranged close to each other between the large projections 16 in a width equal to or smaller than the minimum wavelength in the wavelength band for achieving antireflection.
